Welcome to the Thunderbolt Club.

This club has been authorized by Neal Jern, designer of the “Jern Thunderbolt” (Poor Man’s Rajo”) overhead valve conversion for Model T, Model  A and Model B Ford four cylinder engines. Our mission is to establish a forum to discuss this conversion, answer questions, and share advice and technical knowledge concerning its installation and operation. There are no requirements for membership other than a desire to learn more about the “Jern Thunderbolt”  

We hope this forum will shed new light on this conversion and provide an opportunity for present and future owners of “Jern” Thunderbolts” to develop them to their full potential.

We may consider a shirt or hat if there is interest.
